One God

We believe in One true God who presented Himself in three persons: God the Father, Jesus the Son, and Holy Spirit (Deuteronomy 6:4) (Luke 3:22) (John 14:12, 16, 28) (1 Corinthians 15:24-28).

Infallible Word of God

We believe the Word of God is absolute truth; nothing in it is false or made up. It is what we are called to live our lives by (2 Timothy 3:15-17) (1 Thessalonians 2:13) (2 Peter 1:21). We believe Jesus is the Word of God (John 1:1-3), and we believe Jesus is the Way, Truth, and Life (John 14:6).

Creation and The Fall

We believe that everything was created by and through God (Colossians 1:16). He created man and woman in His image to walk in union with Him (Genesis 1:27).  Because He is love, He left us a choice, a choice He still leaves us today: to love and follow Him or to turn from Him and disobey Him (Genesis 2:16-17). We believe Adam and Eve disobeyed God and because of that choice, their eyes were open to sin (Genesis 3:6-7). Sin put a barrier between them and the Lord. We believe all men and women sin and fall short of the glory of God (Romans 3:10, 23) (Isaiah 64:6). We believe since that day of the fall of Adam and Eve, God has been in a mad pursuit of our hearts, to redeem us and free us from the grip of sin.

We believe that God sent His Son Jesus into the world not to condemn it but to free it (John 3:17).  Jesus is God and was with God since the beginning (John 1:1-3). We believe that Jesus was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, and performed miracles to point people to who God is (Luke 1:35) (Hebrews 7:26) (Acts 10:38). We believe Jesus died in our place and took our sin, the punishment we deserve, and went to the cross for us (Romans 4:25). We believe that after three days He rose again, conquering death once and for all (Luke 24:46-47). Soon after, He ascended to Heaven (1 Corinthians 15:1-4). In Christ all the fullness of God lives in bodily form. The Son is the radiance of God’s glory and the exact representation of his being. (Colossians 2:9; Hebrews 1:3) We believe that Jesus will come again to bring the fullness of His kingdom to earth (Acts 1:11).

Salvation is found only in Jesus Christ. In His name alone are we saved (Acts 4:12).

We are saved by grace, through faith, not by anything we can do or have done, but by God’s abundant love for us (Ephesians 2:8).

We believe God saved us, not because of works done by us in righteousness, but according to His own mercy by the washing of rebirth and renewal by the Holy Spirit, whom he poured out on us generously through Jesus our savior, so that, having been justified by his grace, we might become heirs to His kingdom (Titus 3:5-7).

Water Baptism

We believe all who repent and believe in Jesus as their savior and desire a relationship with Him are commanded to be baptized in water as a symbol of the cleansing and rebirth that comes through a relationship with Jesus (Matthew 28:19) (Mark 16:16).

Holy Spirit Today

We believe the Holy Spirit is as alive and active today as He was in Scriptural times. His role is to convict the world of sin (John 16:8), to teach and comfort believers (John 14:26), to empower believers by producing the fruit of the Spirit in their lives (Acts 1:8) (Galatians 5:22-26), and to reveal Jesus and the heart of the Father through various gifts given to believers (1 Corinthians 12:4-11).

Revelation Times

We believe there is a coming resurrection: those who have believed in Jesus will rise, and those who have rejected Him will be cast from His presence (John 5:29) (2 Corinthians 5:10).

We believe there is a coming judgment where any whose name is not found written in the book of life will be thrown into the lake of fire which is the second death (Revelation 20:14, 15).

Unity of The Body

We believe Jesus calls the body to be one as He is one with the Father, that the world may believe in Him by seeing how believers love one another (John 17). For we were all baptized by one Spirit into one body. (Romans 12:5) (1 Corinthians 12:12)
